Hey everyone, here is a quick update! Please feel free to private message or email me if you have any questions. I am asking for minimal public comments about this update as this topic is sensitive on both sides. Our job is to be faithful ! Division isn’t faithfulness it is a root that can cause great damage to The Bride of Christ. So I welcome your concerns or thoughts but lets speak privately so we can preserve the unity of our church family.

Dear Christian Chapel Family:

With the public concerns regarding the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) , ongoing seasonal flu virus and common cold, we want to assure you that health and safety concerns are a very high priority. We strive for Christian Chapel to be clean, sanitary, and a safe environment for people to meet and worship God. While we realize no public environment is 100% safe, we are taking precautions and safety measures, being diligent in regard to proper cleaning standards and sanitation.

We encourage you to wash your hands frequently and to refrain from simple actions such as shaking hands. We have also set up hand sanitizer stations in and effort to provide additional measures of sanitation. Also, if you or your children are ill, please stay home and watch our services online. While we are not quite ready for a consistent live streaming option we will make an effort to “facebook live” our service over the next few Sundays. While these won’t be quite the quality we want to provide long term, this would be a good avenue to experience service with us as you stay home.

Please keep in mind that during times of uncertainty, we must continue to lean into God’s presence and the Word of God to build our faith and give us comfort. There is no uncertainty in who He is. Beyond that, we have a hope and faith that will set us apart and give us pioneer opportunities to help encourage and comfort others who may not have the same faith in Jesus.

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Matthew 6:34

“Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid.”
John 14:27

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
Romans 8:28

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4: 6-7

“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
