“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you….” Matthew 28:19-20a NIV
Jesus’ command to His disciples was clear – GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES.
This is an INTEGRAL part of what we believe at Christian Chapel Assembly of God. The support of local and world missions is vital to the growth of the church – through constant prayer and our finances. Therefore, we financially support not only U.S. based missionaries but also missionaries to many foreign countries.
The way we financially support missions is through Faith Promises – sacred financial commitments made with the Lord. No amount is too small to be used to expand His kingdom. Read more about Faith Promises here. Hear about Faith Promises from Lead Pastor Tom Conant on our Facebook page.
The second part of Jesus’ command is also a clear commission – to plant other churches through the discipleship of His people. We have had multiple individuals and families develop into missionaries, pastors, church staff and small group leaders, branching out across the country and world.
Being a strong military community, we also transplant members to various military bases. Once there, they continue their personal walk with Jesus and begin sharing that walk with fellow shipmates, airmen and other military families.
Come see how missions can impact YOU and the people around you!
