Jesus Our King Gave Us Our Mission
Crisis Pregnancy Center President Toby Debause shares about God's anointing on us when we're in Christ. Believers, our mission for all of us is to proclaim the good news of the gospel. Toby challenges us to boldly share this good news with those who are blind to God's goodness and to share the message with those who are held captive by sin. We are anointed to do this work. We are to set the oppressed free and none are more oppressed than children on the way to be aborted.

Primary Scripture - Luke 4:18-19

Supplemental Scripture
Rom. 1:16

Rise Up – Victory In Transition – If I Were Your New Pastor
We're in transtion and the pastor will soon be handing off the batton of leadership. In this sermon we get a view from pastor's perspective of what the new pastor needs from us to work into their new job. In many cases the new pastor is also working through all other aspects of their move to a new area, dealing with schools, doctors, new home, etc. We need to do all we can to help them in this transition. They need our support, prayer, and encouragement.

Rise Up! Victory in Transition – How to Love Your Pastor
The Pastor is tasked to lead the church in all it does. This role is more challenging than one can imagine unless you have been one or are one. We, the church, are called to love our Pastor and to support them. In this sermon, as we approach our transition to a new Pastor, Pastor Tom shares why we should support and love our Pastor, the best ways to support our Pastor, and how this benefits you as a member of the Pastor's congregation. With our strong support, the Pastor will be stronger and better. God's support of a pastor includes us being His hands and feet.

Rise Up! Victory In Transition – Attitudes That Bring Victory
Pastor Tom shares the need for unity and spiritual maturity as we go through transition of our Pastoral leadership. The message, adapted from a series by Rev. Gene Roncone, emphasizes that our pastors are temporary and our focus has to stay focused on Jesus. In I Cor., Paul speaks to the church in Corinth, telling them not to quarrel about who is the best of the men they follow. Paul tells them to focus on the spiritual and not be caught up in the flesh. Cease the pride and selfishness. Surrender to God's will. God is the source and Pastors are the conduit.

    Going Up?
    Series: Sermons 2019
When you get warnings, you respond to them. Fire alarms you exit the building, hurricane warnings you evacuate, and there are more. There are also warnings in the Bible, and Pastor Tom shares from Thessalonians about the "Second Coming Prophecy" and the importance of this warning and how we should respond to it.

    In This Together
    Series: Sermons 2019
Based on scripture - Joshua 24:14-24 There are priorities for serving the Lord with your family. First: recognize all of God’s provision. You didn’t get here all by yourself. Everything we have, are, ever will be, is from the Lord. Second: choose god above all else. Idols (diversions) steal our attention and are whatever takes our primary attention off of Jesus. And in serving the Lord, we are called to always take someone with you. Christianity is meant to be lived with others. Third: go all in. Don’t just sit there, do something. No turning back. It’s all or nothing, you can’t serve God and the world.   Other supporting / reference scripture:

    Love Your Enemy
    Series: Sermons 2019
Base scripture for this sermon is Luke 6:27-38
How do you "...love your enemies..." in reality? God does call us to do this, and God means what He says. God is very particular with His words and wording. How do you walk out forgiveness? Remember it does not necessarily include reconciliation. Many say "forgiving is good for you", but first and foremost it is to honor God and His Word. He tells us to forgive (our enemies). We must remember, anytime we do something to someone, good or bad, we are doing it to Jesus first. Honor God to His Word!

    Are You Linked In
When we start in our Christianity, it start with the ABC's, fundamental to us just like we started with in Elementary School. Our Christianity ABC begins with "A" for "Admitting you're a sinner", "B" where we grow to "Believe Jesus died on the cross for our sin", and finally "C" when we "Confess Jesus as Savior and the new boss for my life". For all this we need Faith. Faith is our link to God. It gives us a true link to reality, a clear link to recorded history, and a link to contemporary relevance. Faith still works, and with it we believe God and we do what He says. Source Scripture Hebrews 11:1-6 Other reference scripture John 1:14,18 Rom. 1:20 I Cor. 13:11 Heb. 4:16 Heb. 10:22

    Next Steps
Paul writes to the Philippians about obedience and working out their salvation. This is sanctification - the next steps after we have been saved. Each day we become stronger, by working out spiritually thru prayer, reading our Bible, regular worship attendance and fellowship with other Christians. This is the encouragement Paul gives to the Philippians that carries thru today. We should, and we must! Scripture basis from Phil. 2:12-18 Other scripture cited: Phil. 1:6-7 Eph. 2:8-9 Rom. 6:11-12 I Thes. 4:3 Phil. 2:3-4 II Cor. 5:10 Rom. 8:29-30

    Tell a Friend
Pastor Tom encourages us to tell a friend about Jesus and your own story about how you know him, how He has impacted you, and what He means to you. In John 1:35-49 the scripture tells how John and other disciples told others about Jesus and pointed them to Him as the Messiah, son of God and the King - our Savior. And we have been instructed by Jesus himself to do the same. Make Jesus Known!
