There are many different ways to serve the Lord here at Christian Chapel. We believe what the Bible tells us in reference to serving:

  • Welcome Force – Warm smiles, guiding newcomers and providing our weekly bulletins to all attenders.
  • Worship Team – Musical & theatrical talents utilized to worship the Lord.
  • IT/Sound Booth Technicians – All computer skills can be used in various ways throughout the church and web presence.
  • RISE Youth Ministries (6th Grade-HS) – Friday night youth meetings and the Sunday morning Youth Life Group is always in need of chaperons and helpers.
  • Potter’s Clay Club (K-6th Grade) – Sunday morning Kid’s Church service uses partners to help teach our school age children.
  • Little Lambs Club (PreK-K) – Hands on learning is best for these little kiddos so the more partner hands to help, the better!
  • Nursery (Babies/Toddlers) – Cuddles, toy playing and diaper changes along with lots of love!
  • Men’s & Women’s Sunday Morning Growth Groups – Leading a group of adults through a Bible based study through discussion and prayer.
  • Administrative Team & Office Staff – The behind the scenes of it all: computer, website and organizational skills as well as event planning.
  • Food Pantry Distribution – Distributing food to families in need every Tuesday from 11:00 am-1:00 pm. Assistance with food organizing, preparation and distribution needed. On a Monthly and Semi-Monthly basis, help is needed to receive a bread donation and pickup food from the Foodbank of Virginia.
  • Grounds-keeping – Keeping our grounds beautiful and maintained.
  • Community Outreach Events – We have a variety of events throughout the year: Trunk or Treat, partner with Judeo-Christian Out-Reach, and Operation Christmas Child, just to name a few.
  • Life Group – meeting regularly in a small group environment for discussion, prayer, Bible study and fellowship – Hosts and Leaders for hosting groups in homes and facilitating discussions.
